Testing methods for RF (Radio Frequency), EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), and Electrical Safety have different testing methods according to the characteristics and requirements of each type of testing. For RF (Radio Frequency) testing, samples must be prepared in a Conducted condition, i.e., equipped with an SMA cable connector or pigtail cable. In addition, customers must also attach Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents or relevant testing methods and software (Software Testing) used during the testing process (if necessary).
Â
For EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and Electrical Safety testing, customers only need to provide samples in the form of end products, along with the necessary applications or supporting devices so that the tools or samples can function normally during testing.
Samples used for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing must be fully assembled end products in test-ready condition. Generally, one sample unit is sufficient for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing.
Yes. For EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and Electrical Safety testing, in principle, one sample unit is sufficient, as long as the sample functions properly and meets the test requirements.
Yes, you can, as long as the testing process is still ongoing, revisions to test forms or administrative data can still be made as long as they are agreed upon and documented in accordance with laboratory procedures.
Yes it is allowed. If the test results are declared failed, the customer is given the opportunity to replace the sample a maximum of 2 (two) times according to applicable procedures.
